Our aim is to improve care for patients within the NHS, by generating a culture of leadership and improvement.
We are an inclusive network of individuals, who aim to empower NHS Staff to lead NHS service improvements. This is achieved through engaging online resources, high-quality events, and providing contact between like-minded individuals.
How we achieve our goals:
We are a group of enthusiasts about patient care - our committee currently consists of medical students, junior doctors, consultants and others involved in the system that is the National Health Service.
We all work on a voluntary basis to ensure that we can succeed in what we do.
We do this through providing online learning materials, social media interactions, partnerships with other organisations from all three sectors of the economy, provision of networking opportunities for all, as well as holding live events (both online and face to face - COVID-19 permitting!).
As a result of our activities we hope to inspire, educate and improve the minds of NHS staff to allow them to develop the services delivered to patients on a daily basis to improve outcomes.
We look forward to welcoming you.
Do I have to be a member?
You don't have to be a member to participate in Everyone in Health; however there are a range of member benefits including free event attendance, the chance to join the committee and free access to our range of continually produced online resources.
Only members get the full benefits of our resources and free and full access to events (together with priority booking)
We are a not-for-profit organisation and are grateful for the support we are able to get from our members.
Non-members get access to the basic public website, a limited number of resources and non-priority, chargeable access to our live events on a 'pay as you go' basis.
How can I help?
There are a range of different ways you can get involved with EiH
You can help produce our resources by being a content creator
You can apply to join the committee or become a speaker at an event
Your organisation can become a sponsor (on a regular or event-based arrangement) to allow us to fund our activities
If you are a charity, you can also get involved as a partner
Our call to arms
We will encourage you, support you and help you. We will improve care for NHS patients; that's our focus.
The NHS is broken; waste, cost-cutting, high waiting times, poor accessibility, a changing demographic, poor adoption of life saving technology and disparate quality from Aberdeen to Antrim, from John O'Groats to Land's End. The NHS deserves you, the NHS needs you and, despite other louder messages from elsewhere, it wants you.
Together we can change healthcare in the UK for the better; getting rid of the waste, improving public delivery of services and making patients feel cared for, valued and well looked after. We can do this and together we will.
Everyone in Health can do this.
Remember, we all get better when you do.
