Collaborations

Hello all,

Leading up to our next Committee meeting on Tuesday, I would like to announce to our mailing list and through our updates page an exciting update that has come from the previous Committee meeting and I have now enacted following unanimous approval from the EiH Committee. 

We have added a new section to our website (our 'Collaborations' pages) which explore partnerships with all three sectors of the economy; public, private and charity sectors. We believe that all three sectors are crucial in delivering the best outcomes for our patients and, as a result, we believe it is only right that we form collaborations between organisations from all of these sectors - after all 'Everyone' is (literally) in our name!

Our first partnership - to demonstrate our community-based commitment - is to a Hull-based organisation called 'Smear Not Fear'. 

This organisation focuses on assisting women to challenge rumour and face up to fears around the vital cervical screening programme within the NHS. We are delighted to have them as our partner - as part of our partnership we have provided them with a free microsite as part of our website in order to assist them with our aims, and we have also offered them a physical (or virtual) stand at our future events to further their endeavour. We have also stated that we are open to further partnerships in order to further their work and help achieve their aims. 

We would love to develop further relationships with charitable organisations who share mutual values, as well as private and public sector organisations. We hope that the former two forms of organisation will allow us to achieve our own aims through sponsorship of either specific events or activities, or of the organisation itself - if you know of an organisation who would be interested in this opportunity, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
