We are aimed at – well - everyone involved in Health and Social Care; including service users.
Everyone is a not-for-profit organisation that provides management and leadership skills, tools and knowledge to everyone working in health and social care. We hope to empower NHS staff to lead NHS service improvements. Not only does everyone provide events, it also provides online materials through its website as well as a range of other networking events in order to allow colleagues to connect.
Everyone is funded through membership payments, donations from local businesses that wish to build their profile in the community through involvement as part of their corporate social responsibility commitments, and donations from individuals who wish to support the cause.
Everyone is run on a voluntary basis by a committee of health and social care staff. It is currently led by one of the Clinical Teaching Fellows at Hull York Medical School, and the Founder of ‘Everyone’, Dr Adam Dalby. He is joined by a multidisciplinary committee, which will continue to expand over the next twelve months.
‘Everyone’ was founded in September 2019 and will spend the next twelve months undergoing an exciting establishment process in order to produce materials for the website, and plan events for the next academic year for all. The committee will spend the next twelve months continuing to develop the ideas that we already have for the organisation, and consulting interested parties.
Modern, high quality management and leadership skills are required in the context of modern healthcare. Systems thinking of the organisation and layout of services is a vital skill for all involved in the delivery of healthcare.
Such skills are not just required by those in formal management roles and are required in all members of staff across the spectrum of roles within health and social care.
‘Everyone’ aims to deliver these skills in a fun, friendly and exciting format.
‘Everyone’ is based in Hull, and covers, at present, the Yorkshire Region. We hope to become UK-wide.
We provide educational events, online learning and networking events to all, in order to improve the leadership and management capacity of the NHS with the aim of improving patient care. See how you can get involved.
