NI Healthcare Leaders

The NI Healthcare Leadership Forum is a student-led society made up of NI healthcare students of multiple disciplines, who promote and inspire improvement in healthcare. We encourage those going into healthcare provision to recognize their leading capabilities and their ability to empower improvement, regardless of professional title.

We hope to be a student reflection of the multidisciplinary team to enable us to create holistic events. Our committee is currently made up of medical, dental, pharmacy, nursing, social work, AHP, paramedic and other students from across NI.

Although being student-led we invite all to attend our events; from consultants to Band 5 nurses - members of the public and service users are also welcome to engage with our events and other activities!

We achieve our goal of inspiring improvement in healthcare in many different ways be it hosting conferences, creating educational lectures or resources, facilitating discussions, or simply sharing information. 

We are so grateful to be supported by partnership funding from ABPI Northern Ireland. 

As well as this partnership, many healthcare professionals and organisations have provided invaluable encouragement as we strive to contribute to a constantly evolving healthcare environment. 

We love to collaborate with those who have a shared goal, after all - 'teamwork makes the dream work!'. 

Our dream is for a healthcare service that is constantly improving and adapting to the changing needs of our society. You have a part to play in this vision regardless of your professional title or lack thereof.

Our next event, 'My Life, My Death, My Decisions' is happening on 5 dates between 10th March and 7th April at 7pm and consists of a series of events looking at Advanced Care Planning.
