North East Lincolnshire Mind – We’re here to make sure anyone with a mental health problem in Grimsby and Cleethorpes has somewhere to turn for advice and support.
Originally Grimsby, Cleethorpes and District Mind, North East Lincolnshire Mind is located in Grimsby. As well as helping people to enhance their quality of life, North East Lincolnshire Mind support individuals to engage in meaningful activities within a community setting with social and emotional support. We help each person we work with to increase their independence and achieve the goals they set for themselves.
As a charity North East Lincolnshire Mind has an ambitious vision for the future in which we will not give up until everybody experiencing a mental health problem gets both support and respect.
Our VISION is that we won’t give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets both support and respect.
Our MISSION is to work with partners to intervene as early as possible, providing advice and support to empower and give hope to anyone experiencing a mental health problem. We campaign locally to improve services and reduce stigma and discrimination.
North East Lincolnshire Mind support hundreds of people every year with their mental health – whether that be via their specialist SafeSpace service, through their work within the homeless community, or by supporting people with 1-1 or group support.
