23rd May 2020 Update...

Hello Everyone (in Health),

It’s been a couple of months of silence from our end due to the COVID-19 emergency currently sweeping the world.

As Chair, I can only apologise for the disappointment that the resources I was planning on producing over the past few months (as per our previous update) have not been produced due to the significant amount of work I have been conducting on the frontline of the NHS. 

However, unfortunately, we have now confirmed that we have had to cancel our Launch Event on 1st July 2020. We will be rearranging it, however, even if we have to innovate more than we had planned to conduct it!

We have also decided to continue to grow our committee - Madeline and Elle - will be joining the committee next month - you will be able to see their profiles in the committee page once these are posted.

In addition, as you may know, I am studying an MBA at the University of Hull, and I will be working hard as part of my current module (strategic management) to come up with a publishable strategy for ‘Everyone in Health’.

Thank you for bearing with us and for your understanding during these unprecedented times. The COVID-19 Emergency has demonstrated the importance of leadership within the National Health Service even more than ever before.
